WISTA PERU International Collaboration Meeting

We are excited to announce that the first meeting was held to discuss the Port Week and Internship in the Port of Santander, which will take place in August and September 2024!
Organized by the Head of the Department of Corporate Activities and Innovation of the Port Authority of Santander, José Ramón, the President of WISTA PERÚ, Mariela Gutarra and the President of WISTA SPAIN, Rosana Velasco, being accompanied by the directors, members of the Board of Directors and members of both WISTA associations. This interesting and innovative event is organized by the Port Authority of Santander, State Ports and has the academic support of the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP).
In 2023, WISTA PERÚ had the honor of participating in the Port Week and Internship thanks to the signing of the International Agreement of mutual collaboration between our association and the Port Authority of Santander in Spain. This agreement allowed us to praise the remarkable work of the #woman in the #port sector and train us on current issues in port work, as well as best practices on hashtag#port-city issues!
This year, Port Week will have the participation of WISTA SPAIN, with whom we are organizing a space dedicated to the important #role of women in the port sector. We will address relevant topics as part of the #strategic objectives of the State Ports strategic framework aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. In this way, we fulfill our objective of creating #synergies between the national WISTA associations (NWA) and we encourage the #collaboration in our industry.
