Flavia Maia is elected the new President of WISTA Brazil

The AGM and elections of Wista Brazil Board took place on November 14 at the conference center of its registered address in Rio de Janeiro where Flavia Maia, Managing Director of Gard M&E Limited – Escr. Rep. no Brazil Ltda was elected President.

In the opportunity the incumbent President Fabiana Simões Martins, Partner at Siano & Martins congratulated the AGM and said that she could not think of a better person to be her sucessor and that she had no doubt that Flavia will be a remarkable president.

Flavia Maia thanked the Executive committee for their participation and continued support. In addition, she reiterated the importance of inclusion and diversity at WISTA Brazil, which could only be achieved by the support from female and male members highlighting that gender equality should not be addressed only by women but by the society at large.
