WISTA The Netherlands Women Leadership Program

WISTA the Netherlands in cooperation with the Rotterdam School of Management proudly presents the WISTA Women in Leadership Program (WLP). A leadership program customized for WISTA members especially designed to develop industry-relevant leadership skills and networking in an intense, interactive two-day program.

The WISTA WLP addresses the issues of women in business, particularly the challenges that women face when climbing the corporate ladder. The aim of the WLP is to enable each of the participants to discover more about themselves by interacting with other high-performing women in a challenging but pleasant environment.

The classroom training as well as the subsequent workshops will prepare the participants for their next career step acquiring new knowledge, engaging voice, taking ownership, building a profile and gaining confidence.

Participants will gain understanding of their leadership style, develop and understand their network and learn effective and concise communication. After the training, each participant will know not only how she can increase her leadership presence, but also specifically what actions the wants to take in the short term to see immediate improvement.

The WISTA WLP will be led by Prof. Dianne Bevelander who will be responsible for the program on “Women in Leadership” and by Dorothy Grandia who will conduct a workshop on “Communication with Impact”. The course will be given in English.

Costs: € 350,00 for the entire course per participant.
Normally the costs for this program are € 1.500,00 WISTA the Netherlands will pay for the remaining costs.

Not included: Dinner on 2 July and optional hotel accommodation.

Time schedule:
Daily start at 09.00 hours – 17.00 hours
On 2 July the program also includes dinner with all the participants.

Selection procedure:
There is a maximum of 24 participants.
A precondition for participating is that you pay the fee immediately after receipt of the invoice that will be sent to you after you have registered and been selected to participate.
Your place in the program is secure as soon as payment has been received.

Failing payment within two weeks after we have sent the invoice will lead to losing your place in the program. Because of the special nature of the program, the fact that most of the costs are paid by WISTA the Netherlands and in order to be able to offer a real custom made program we also request you to submit a short motivation why you would like to participate upon your application on the registration page.

The participants will be selected by the organizing committee on the basis of “first come, first served”.
