WISTA Uruguay 2020 Elections

WISTA Uruguay is led by:

Dr. Monica Ageitos – Centro de Navegación General Manager – TREASURER
Lt. Commander of the Uruguayan Navy Valeria Sorrenti – Minesweeper “AUDAZ” Commanding Officer – VOCAL

Ms. Laura Olazabal – Assistant Manager of Universal Shipping Agency – Trustee
Ms. Solveig Schandy – Director and partner of Thomas J. Schandy Ltda., Lloyd’s Agents and P&I Correspondents – Public Relations Officer and WebMaster

The election was carried out on the 12th March 2020 by the Electoral Commission, more than 2/3 direct assistance of members who submitted their secret vote or through powers of attorney. The results of the election were published in the local media, newspapers and magazines as well in Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

WISTA Uruguay joins several other NWAs in the Americas, with additional expansion in South America expected later this year.
