WISTA Singapore’s AGM on 14 Sept 2022

We have been reinvigorated by our AGM which took place on 14 Sept 2022 at the office of our corporate member, Stephenson Harwood LLP. Here are some highlights!

1. Our President, Maike Brinckmann, gave an inspiring address running through the history of WISTA and reminding us of how far we have come and how we have successfully revived our networking events post-Covid 19 restrictions. There is so much more to look forward to! Our conference in Geneva, Christmas and CNY events, to name a few…

2. We will be setting up sub-committees to increase member engagement. Want to raise your profile within WISTA but worried about having no time to commit to joining the exco? Join a sub-committee that caters to your specific interest and strength! Yukie Teo will be providing more details.

3. Magdalene Chew, long serving ex-President, was appointed honorary member, joining the ranks of Belinda Koh! WISTA for life, yeah!

4. Our WISTA ambassadors were unanimously reappointed. And phew, they accepted their reappointments. Thank you, Wai Pong Lee, Nicolas White, Paul Aston, Mike Meadeand Belinda Koh!

And oh, we did make good work of the delicious curry and mountain of rice catered from Muthu’s Curry!
