WISTA POLAND panelists at BaltExpo 2025

At BALTEXPO – International Maritime and Military Fair 2025 in Gdansk, WISTA Poland hosted two standout panels: “Women at the Helm of the Maritime Economy” and “Women of the Sea — from Service on Deck to Leadership Ashore.” We explored how women’s courage, competence, and solidarity are shaping today’s maritime sector — from the bridge and onboard operations to port management, logistics, and innovation. Topics included equal access to careers, mentoring and STEM education, safety and crew well-being, digitalization, decarbonization, and the pivotal role women play in the sector’s green transition.
