WOMEN IN THE PORT SECTOR, ADVANCES, OPPORTUNITIES, AND CHALLENGES
WISTA Peru’s Social Responsibility Committee, with the collaboration of Marzia Gallo, founding member and committee member, highlights the advancements that have allowed more women to take on key roles in the port sector, occupying strategic and operational positions that drive the industry’s growth and modernization.
The challenge now is to consolidate these achievements and continue promoting policies that strengthen equal opportunities, foster female leadership, and ensure the active participation of more women at all levels of the port environment.
