WISTA NIGERIA 2023 BUSINESS LUNCHEON

Blue Economy: Nov 16th, 2023- Potentials For Repositioning & Rebuilding Nigeria’s Maritime Sector was the theme for the 2023 Annual Business Luncheon, which held on Nov 16th, 2023 and saw the presence of industry experts from government and private parastatals grace the event. Papers were presented on various topics as the lead presenter in the person of Adedoyin Rhodes Vivour (SAN) presented a paper on the theme while highlighting the benefits of the Blue Economy on the Nigerian Maritime Industry. Mr Temisan Omatseye the former Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency spoke on Nigeria’s Shipping Industry and the Economic Impact of Climate Change. The event had a panel session made up of industry experts who gave insights on the theme, citing challenges faced in harnessing the potentials of the Blue Economy in developing the Nigerian Maritime Industry. The annual business luncheon magazine for 2023 was also launched as a hallmark of the event.
