Thalassa Conference

The Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Shipping, together with the Municipality of Limassol, organized on the 20th May 2023 the 3rd “THALASSA 2023” Festival, at the Multifunctional Seaside Park at the Limassol Pier.
WISTA Cyprus was present with a booth with the aim of informing the public, especially young people, about the actions of the organization, the empowerment of women in shipping and the sharing information about the Sea and the Blue Economy. WISTA Members rotated throughout the day sharing their experiences and knowledge with by the public from 9am to 8pm.
We were honoured by the presence and visit to our booth, by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Nicos Christodoulides and the Shipping Deputy Minister Mrs. Marina Hadjimanolis.
