MentorWave, Mentors and Mentees gathering, October 2024

On 08th April we launched our mentorship programme, MentorWave. MentorWave is a collaborative endeavour, supported by the Cyprus Shipping Chamber and YoungShip Cyprus. This synergy underscores our collective commitment to fostering a vibrant, well-supported community of new entrants to the maritime industry, equipping them to make significant contributions to the sector.

Due to the busy schedule in the weeks before, the Mentors and Mentees taking part in the pilot program of MentorWave, were only able to plan a meeting on 22nd October. During this meeting, members of the WISTA board and the MentorWave Committee had the opportunity to meet with the participating mentors and mentees in the program, exchanging ideas on the current structure of the program and setting the ground for future actions.
