IV Maritime Law Conferences – UCAB Guayana

Last month, the city of Puerto Ordaz hosted the IV Cycle of Maritime Law Conferences – UCAB Guayana. Taking place at the Auditorium of the Andrés Bello Catholic University.

 

 

 

The event was organized by WISTA Venezuela, together with the Venezuelan Maritime Law Association, the Venezuelan branch of the Ibero-American Institute of Maritime Law and the Andrés Bello Catholic University. Our President Cristina Mujica shared a few words to introduce WISTA to the region of Guayana.

 

 

 

 

For the fourth consecutive year, professionals from all over the country got united to discuss the relevant procedural difficulties and challenges the maritime sector has been facing for the last 20 years. The Conference lasted two whole days, focusing on the Procedural aspects of the Law and the technological features available today.

 

 

Finally, the event concluded with an outstanding toast at the Art Gallery of the University, where the participants had the opportunity to do some networking.
