Brussels Conference on the Wellbeing of Seafarers

On Friday 8th March WISTA International President Elpi Petraki and WISTA International Treasurer Connie Roozen, will attend the Brussels Conference on the Wellbeing of Seafarers. Mrs. Petraki will moderate Panel Three: Women in Maritime and Inclusion. This panel will address the need for inclusion and the roadmap to achieve it within the maritime sector. Exploring why maritime needs more women, great diversity and inclusion and how we can ensure the wellbeing of all, with a focus of what needs to be done to increase the numbers of underrepresented groups.

During the event The Honours for Diversity and Inclusion in Maritime 2024, organised by WISTA BELGIUM and endorsed by WISTA International , European Commission‘s Women in Transport and the Belgian Presidency of the Council of European Union, will be awarded.
