105th anniversary of maritime education in Poland – Gdynia Maritime University (UMG)

WISTA Poland was honored to take part in the celebrations, paying tribute to the tradition, progress, and future of maritime education in Poland

The celebration included a flag-raising ceremony in front of the main university building, a solemn mass in the chapel of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and an open Senate meeting in the Tadeusz Meissner Auditorium. The event gathered university authorities, invited guests, and representatives of maritime institutions. The presence of Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Arkadiusz Marchewka highlighted the importance of the occasion.

Special congratulations go to our esteemed WISTA members:
Dr hab. Joanna Kizielewicz, UMG Professor, awarded the First Degree Individual Award by the Rector of UMG,
Dr Katarzyna Skrzeszewska and MSc Eng. Adrianna Kara?, who received Second Degree Awards.
