Join us in ‘Saluting the Seafarer’

On the 14th of July, in light of the inaugural International Women in Maritime Day and the Day of the Seafarer, WISTA UK is hosting a celebratory ceremony at the International Maritime Organisation in London.

Secretary-General of the  IMO Kitack Lim will deliver the Keynote speech, while the ceremony is in acknowledgement of the female merchant navy award winners, followed by summer drinks on the IMO’s stunning terrace.

• 1730: Drinks reception
• 1810: Welcome by WISTA UK President Monica Kohli
• 1815: HE Kitack Lim, Secretary General IMO, Keynote Address
• 1830: Felicitating the Female Merchant Navy Award winners
• 1850: Seafarers Charity: Spotlighting their work
