WISTA Germany and WISTA the Netherlands have joined forces for the summer activity on Friday, June 21st, 2019!

Starting in the afternoon, we’ll meet at Meyer Werft ship yard in Papenburg* for a special guided tour across one of the world’s most famous shipyards – a tour tailor-made for WISTA!

After the visit to Meyer Werft, we’ll continue to a Greek restaurant in the nearby city center. A welcome drink will be waiting for us, before we have dinner and spend a wonderful evening with networking on an international scale.

We look forward to meeting you and to welcome WISTA members from all over The Netherlands and Germany!

Time schedule

16:00 Meet in frond of the Visitor’s Center of Meyer Werft Shipyard
16:30 Start of the guided shipyard tour
18:30 Drive to Restaurant Olympia
19:00 Welcome reception and dinner
23:00 End

Menu options

As a start, there will be plates with a small variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters on the tables. For the main course we can choose from two options.

Option A: Souvlaki, skewered pork meat with tzazitki, farmer fries, rice and salad

Option B: Vegetarian: Haloumi, fried cheese speciality from Cyprus with grilled vegetables in balsamic dressing, served with toasted bread.

Accommodation

Wista Germany arranged special rates for 2 hotels. Bookings need to be done individually, under the keyword ‘WISTA’.

Option A: Hotel Radisson Inn, Papenburg
€ 87,00 incl. breakfast, standard single room
€ 112,00 incl. breakfast, standard twin bed room
Junior suite for an additional charge of € 40,00 per room.

Option B: Hotel Arkadenhaus
€ 85,00 incl. breakfast, single room
€ 120,00 incl. breakfast, twin bed room

The board will stay at Arkadenhaus.
