WISTA Brazil honours Judge Maria Cristina

WISTA Brazil had the honor of participating in a Solemn Session of the Maritime Court, where Judge Maria Cristina de Oliveira Padilha was awarded the honorary title of Maritime Court Judge upon her retirement, leaving us with an exemplary legacy of resilience. During the session, various tributes were paid to Judge Maria Cristina, including a plaque recognizing her as an Honorary Member of WISTA Brazil, as approved in our General Assembly on March 21.

As a pioneer and the only woman in the position of judge specializing in shipbuilding, her career will continue to inspire many other women. We congratulate Judge Maria Cristina for her remarkable contribution and wish for her example of resilience to endure for generations.
