Today, June 25, we celebrate “Day of the Seafarer” to raise awareness about the contribution of the maritime world to society at large.
Who makes up the Seafarer community?
The term “Seafarer” refers to the collective of individuals involved in maritime activities (commerce and/or transportation), both those on board vessels and those providing support from land, across all sectors.
WISTA Peru joins in this celebration, especially honoring our members who, through their hard work and dedication, keep global trade moving and make the maritime sector a safer place to work.
