WISTA Sweden Autumn Meeting

November 22, 2018 to November 23, 2018

Why do people not do what I tell them to do?

Motivational coaching, we get an introduction into how to make people want to change by Jeanette Johansson Ymén, who is a member of Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers, MINT.

After this inspiring lecture do we sit down and discuss visions & challenges in our workplaces.

Before dinner, there will be an opportunity to go to the spa of the hotel and enjoy some relaxation, unless you want to continue the conversation with your WISTA sistas, before we all go to Dinner.

Linda Mikkelson, HR Manager, Stena, will give us an overview of the mentorship programme at Stena and we will also be introduced to their “Turned Tables Programme”.

The success factor is a good structure and some coaching to get going, then the Mentor and the Mentee will take it from there.

Before lunch, we will learn everything about “Nudging” from Shoka Åhrman. Behavioral economics is the science which makes us become guided by feelings when we make financial decisions. Shoka is inspired by the Nobel Prize Winner, Richard H Thaler.

WISTA Sweden continues to discuss #metoo and is offering an extended part of the Autumn meeting, where we continue our work which started at the Spring meeting in Malmö.

Once again Eva Mark is invited to guide us in diversity mainstreaming, which is a method used with the EU and is strongly recommended. Eva will give us the tools.
