This year’s WISTA Germany @ SMM panel discussion is about one of the biggest challenges of the maritime industry these days: When our world stopped due to the covid-pandemic, shipping kept going to ensure that we have most commodities available. However, the crews on board are suffering very long service times and the uncertainty of when they will see their families again.

Experts from the industry will discuss the challenges with regard to crew change, the impact on employees onboard and ashore and what the possible solutions are.
