WISTA Bermuda Fundraising

WISTA Bermuda has supported Bermuda Sloop Foundation (BSF) and the sail training programme onboard the beautiful Spirit of Bermuda for many years. This year Spirit is due for her 10 year American Bureau of Shipping inspection and recertification. As a result, she will be getting a new engine to replace the one that has worked so hard and served her so well these past eleven years, and the ship will undergo some essential maintenance to ensure another ten years of delivering exceptional STEAM education through sail training to Bermuda’s youth (costs are estimated at +- $200,000 for the engine and the shipyard work required).
