WISTA USA – PNW September Lunch n’ Learn

The PNW WISTA chapter had the pleasure the pleasure of having Christine Klimkowski speak to our group.  Christine is a  Master Mariner, Instructor, and Southeast Alaska Pilots’ Association Trainee speaking to our group. Christine is a SUNY Maritime grad and has worked her way up, including as Chief Mate of the University of Washington’s Research Vessel, the Thomas G. Thompson. When she is not in training with SEPA, she is an instructor at the Pacific Maritime Institute and speaker She talked about her path, her pivot points for her career, mentorship, leadership, and her experience thus far on becoming a Southeast Alaska Pilot.  Check out another talk she has done with Ignite Seattle “Ship That Matters!” https://youtu.be/LiybjbJ4aoM
