WISTA Russia participated at MLC 2006 Conference in Moscow

WISTA Russia participated at International Conference in Moscow – MLC 2006 as Essential pillar in the Protection of Seafarers’ Social and Labour Rights.

WISTA Russia President Olga Lazovskaya and member Dr. Ilona Denisenko, past President at IMHA made presentations and participated in a panel discussion regarding women in the maritime industry. This is the first event in Russia of this scale with open debates on gender diversity in the maritime sector. We are happy it took place with the personal presence of top executives from ITF, ILO and Russia’s Maritime Community.
