WISTA International was busy in London last week!

Stop 1: President Elpi Petraki participated in the International Maritime Organization‘s Technical Cooperation Committee (TC74) meetings, where discussions centred on capacity building, resource mobilization, and strategic partnerships.

Stop 2: Celebrating The Day of the Seafarer on June 25th at the IMO and at the TradeWinds WISTA UK event.

Stop 3: We had the opportunity to showcase and promote the second IMO-WISTA Women in Maritime Survey at the informal Workshop & exhibition of the major projects and initiatives of the ITCP.

The survey aims to collect vital data on women in the maritime sector, which will be instrumental in identifying areas for enhancing gender equality and diversity.

We are grateful to the International Maritime Organization’s Women in Maritime team for their dedication and hard work.

Congratulations to the Department of Partnerships and Projects DPP for showcasing the work on the numerous projects.
