WISTA CYPRUS meets with Shipping Deputy Minister

A very constructive meeting was held with the Shipping Deputy Minister Marina Hadjimanolis at the Shipping Deputy Ministry on May 5th, 2023.
During the meeting ideas were explored on how to further strengthen the association’s ties with the SDM and how WISTA can contribute towards fostering and further developing the local shipping and maritime sector, via the promotion of women, enriching the educational curriculum, promoting sustainable business practices, and exploring means of attracting future generations into the industry. WISTA CYPRUS reiterated its support towards the initiatives and goals of the SDM.
WISTA CYPRUS thanks the Shipping Deputy Ministry and the Shipping Deputy Minister for their support in empowering women in shipping. We look forward to a great cooperation throughout her excellency’s term.
