Wista Chile was part of the commemoration of the 201 years of the Merchant Navy of Chile

WISTA Chile was invited by the National Association of Shipowners (ANA) to commemorate the 201st anniversary of the Chilean Merchant Navy in a ceremony at the Naval Club in Valparaíso. The presence of WISTA Chile, through its president Paula Pastén, was highlighted during the official speech of the president of the trade union organization, Enrique Ide, in the presence of authorities and prominent members of the maritime sector.

They also attended the event on behalf of our organization, which brings together the women of the shipping industry and international trade: Paola Ferreira de Cave liquidators; Alejandra Canales, senior general manager Breakbulk Service of Transmares of the Shipping Company Ultranav Ltda. And Claudia Magna, CEO of MundoMaritimo.

Paula Pastén, president of Wista Chile, together with mentioning that for the organization it is an honor to participate in the 201 years of the Chilean Merchant Navy, she stressed that “for us it is very important to cultivate the relationship with other associations, especially within our industry and the ANA, with its long history, is a great reference in our sector “.

“These instances allow us to share and talk about what is happening, what worries us and also about our projects and contingencies, we must be present and active actors committed to the development of our country.”
