WISTA Brazil attended the launching of Merchant Marine joint parliamentary front in Brasília

On Tuesday, May 28th, WISTA Brazil attended the launching of the Merchant Marine joint parliamentary front by invitation of the Brazilian Navy, an initiative to discuss and promote the advancement of  the Maritime Sector and the Brazilian Navy.

WISTA Brazil is committed to support Women in the Maritime Cluster and in the year the IMO selected the theme “Empowering Women in the Maritime Community” the opportunity to be invited to take part of the event enables WISTA Brazil to continue this work.

It was great to meet our Members and WISTA Brazil supporters Marianne Lachmann (Lachmann Group), Luciana Guerise (ATP), Fabiana Martins (joint president WISTA Brazil), Jacqueline Wendpap (Antaq), Luciana Suman (MarMec), Nivea Francisco (Amigos do Mar), Ursula Peroni (Elcano), Captain Hildelene Lobato, Captain Joelma Martins Ferreira, Admiral Roberto Gondim (Director of Ports and Coasts) and the Navy Chief Commander, Admiral Ilques Barbosa Júnior.
