WISTA Argentina has Compliance Committee

We are so glad to announce that WISTA Argentina has the “Compliance Committee” which will be in charge of revising and applying guidelines and protocols of WISTA international as well as, being in charge of drafting and setting local protocols, consultancy for WISTA Argentina Board and taking preventive actions in accordance with local and international applicable law.
The Committee is formed by Mrs. Mariana Neustadt, Mrs. Mariana Salvador & Mrs. Yamila Denise Rivero., three of them active members of Wista Argentina and lawyers with specialization in Compliance, Sea Law and International Trade. Here below we share a bit biography of each of them.
BIOGRAPHIES
Mrs. Mariana Neustadt. Lawyer. Degree obtained at the Buenos Aires University in 1994. Partner at Law Firm “M Neustadt & Asoc”. Specialization in see law. Along her professional trajectory she has offered legal consultancy to foreign ship-owners and national companies of international transport of goods and international trade. She was legal consultant working with boards of directors and operative, commercial and administrative departments of the companies. Since 2007 she is in charge of the “Compliance Department at the Rio de la Plata”. She is currently advisor of many companies in matters related to the implementation of ethic and compliance programs for antitrust law and many other subjects related to the navy industry. Since 2011 she is ”Regional Facilitator in Antitrust Compliance. She has a certification in Ethic and Compliance – UCEMA. Co-Director of the Study Commission of “Compliance and Antitrust”. She is currently taking the MBA at UCEMA. Active member of Wista Argentina
Mrs. Mariana Salvador. Senior legal counsel with international experience (+20) in large multinational companies in charge of LATAM South and private practice. Contracts, Mediation, International Trade and Compliance postgraduates with international certification. Several trainings in USA, Europe, Brazil and Argentina. Bachelor degree in Business Shipping Administration, acting before Federal/Commercial courts in Argentina (as expert witness appointed by the judge) or as advisor/consultant. At the end of 2019 I will be official mediator before Buenos Aires Courts. Member of CPIN, WIC Ar, Argentina Bar. Active member of Wista Argentina
Mrs. Yamila Rivero. Lawyer with specialization in sea law and international trade. Large experience working for agents, importers and exporters, forwarders and transport companies as in-house lawyer. Postgraduate in Custom House Law, LATAM Compliance Diploma. She is currently Legal & Compliance Manager for Gruppe Heinlein GMBH, a group formed by six companies which offers different services of ship agency, tramp and liner ships, logistic, local and international transport by land, sea and air, forwarding, tourism and food. Active member of Wista Argentina and Advisor of the board of Wista Argentina.
