How are standards created? Are they truly universal? What can the length of a trouser leg or the depth of a pocket tell us about the world?

RE-FORM THE NORM is a project that takes a seemingly simple topic – workwear and protective clothing – to explore the hidden inequalities embedded in everyday design standards. Based on the experiences of women in the maritime industry, it asks a fundamental question: how can we create a working world that reflects the diversity of bodies and needs?

We warmly invite you to join the discussion and explore the exhibition, which presents both technical analyses and artistic interpretations of discomfort, risk, and dignity.
