Full Time – Dry Cargo Broker
Maersk Broker Bulk Chartering / NAODAN Chartering, Inc.
Mercer Island, WA, USA

Expanding Seattle area dry brokerage with more than 30 years in business in conjunction with large worldwide partner is seeking a dry cargo broker.  2-5 years industry experience and background in dry cargo operations preferred, project cargo experience a plus. Must be eligible to work in United States. No visa sponsorship available.

Key Responsibilities:
-Grow existing business relationships and identify future clients for dry, liner/bulk charterers. 
-Track market and provide intelligence and advice to clients.
-Responsible for fixing cargoes, communicating with customers and administrating voyage. 

-Prepare voyage profit/loss reports and market reports.
-Collaborate with ops team throughout post-fix. 

Requirements:
-Ability to work in United States (no visa sponsorship available).
-Flexibility-position requires communication around the world.
-Thrive in fast-paced environment.
-High negotiation skills.
-Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills.
-Experience in dry cargo operations.

Further Desired Qualifications:
-Degree in Maritime studies, Business, or equivalent
-Bilingual (especially Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese)
