Annual General Meeting 2025 of WISTA Poland

On March 25, 2025, the Annual General Meeting of WISTA Poland took place in Gdynia – an organization that has been supporting women in the maritime economy for 12 years. The meeting was held at the BCT Terminal in a professional and welcoming atmosphere of partnership. The participants summed up 2024 as a year full of inspiring events, thematic meetings, academic cooperation, and educational projects for children. WISTA Poland members include experts and leaders from all areas of the maritime sector – from shipping and logistics to law, innovation, and academia. The association proudly represented Poland internationally, including in Hamburg and Limassol. Plans for 2025 include further international activities, expanding networks, and a stronger presence in coastal regions. A key event will be Women in Maritime Day, held in cooperation with the Association of Sea Captains and featuring the presentation of medals named after Captain Danuta Kobyli?ska-Walas – a pioneer and symbol of female strength at sea. The title of “Personality of the Year 2025” was awarded to board member Dorota Dwulit for her leadership and initiatives. WISTA Poland has become a strong, supportive community of women shaping the future of the industry. We are women of the sea – present, professional, and passionate.
