On August 13th, we held the international congress “Hidrovía 360” at the AFE center in Colonia del Sacramento city, an event that we proudly share was conceived and organized by WISTA Uruguay in conjunction with Altamar News.
We had the participation of more than 20 speakers and over 200 participants, all of them actors from different areas of the public and private maritime sector. The discussions focused on topics concerning the Paraná-Paraguay Waterway, a shared water resource for the maritime trade of the 5 member countries: Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, and Bolivia. Key topics included its importance for the commercial development of these nations, future vision and projections, environment, safety, and navigation.
