Lunch & Learn with Eleanor Kirtley, Sr. Program Manager – West Coast & U.S., Green Marine.
With all of us secluding ourselves from COVID-19, our PNW chapter will be presenting via remote call in for our March Lunch n’ Learn as we have prudently chosen not to meet in person for this month’s meeting.
You and your chapter members are invited to attend via the comfort of your computer wherever you may be (sequestered at home, in your Lysol sprayed office, etc.). Please feel free to forward to your chapter as you see appropriate.

Who: As part of our Port Series our speaker will be our own WISTA member; Eleanor Kirtley, Sr. Program Manager – Green Marine
Eleanor Kirtley opened the first remote and US office for Green Marine she joined the program in 2014 as the West Coast Program Manager, based in Seattle. She leads the West Coast Advisory Committee, supports Green Marine’s participants located on Canada’s West Coast and throughout most of the United States, and manages the ship Owners’ technical Committee. In addition to responsibility for the certification criteria on the vessel side, Eleanor also oversees air emissions for landside programs. Prior to joining Green Marine, Eleanor was a consultant and project Manager at Glosten for six years. Within their ocean engineering and analysis group, she led vessel traffic and risk assessment studies. Eleanor obtained her PHD in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan.
