Discussion Circle: Guide to Addressing Harassment in the Maritime Sector

On February 8, 2024, WISTA Brazil had the pleasure of bringing together and giving a voice to women from various areas of the maritime sector. In partnership with ANTAQ – National Agency for Waterway Transportation, we organized a discussion circle on the Guide to Addressing Harassment in the Maritime Sector. The event featured Flávia Takafashi, Director at the institution and the guide’s rapporteur.

Creating a safe space for sharing stories and experiences is a mission of WISTA Brazil. This valuable exchange will contribute to the development of the manual, which will be launched on March 26 at ANTAQ’s headquarters in Brasília, with support from the Ministry of Ports and Airports.

The event took place at the Bunker One (Brazil) auditorium, a WISTA partner.
