WISTA Portugal

The maritime world is changing. WISTA Portugal is here to make sure women are at the centre of that change.

Founded in 2018 and based in Funchal, Madeira, we are Portugal’s national association for women professionals in maritime, trade and logistics — a growing community of over 40 members, connected to a global network of more than 6,000 across 60 countries.

We exist to support the women already shaping the sector and open doors for those who will. Through networking, shared experience and the creation of real business opportunities, we are building a more equal, more diverse and more competitive Portuguese maritime cluster — together.

These are the Statutes of WISTA Portugal as from the launch of the association, September 18th, 2018, available for download.
