Women's International Shipping & Trading Association

Welcome To WISTA Peru

“We as WISTA PERU began to write our history in April 2018, when with a group of eleven (11) founding members we established WISTA PERU. The path we have traveled has not been easy, but today after three and a half years, we can say that despite the challenges we have faced, including Covid-19 pandemic, we have continued to grow, move forward together and have been able to consolidate as an Association.

Today we are fifty-three women leaders, committed to continue adding efforts and sharing the lessons learned, who seek to continue opening paths and achieve greater opportunities in the maritime, port, foreign trade and logistics sectors. Our commitment is not only for ourselves but for future generations.

We are aware that there are still many challenges that we will have to continue facing to achieve an egalitarian future, but we are sure that we will continue advancing and that we are not alone on this path because we are joining efforts and also establishing coordination and cooperation mechanisms with the public and private sector.

Today we want to celebrate and share with you everything that has been achieved during these three and a half years, and also invite you to reflect and join forces so that we can all move forward together to achieve a more equal world.

I want to thank our members, our directors and a special thanks to my Board of Directors, for their constant support, commitment and dedication to service, which have made it possible for us to be here today more united and moving forward. My best wishes to the new Board of Directors, I am sure that with your leadership and commitment WISTA PERU will continue to strengthen and become an important benchmark in our sector.

You will always have our support.”

Message Past President Miriam Sara Repetto 2018-2021.
