Welcome To WISTA Japan

Launched in 2012 and incorporated as a general incorporated association (ippan shadan hojin) in 2017, Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) Japan is a national chapter of WISTA in Japan and a diverse member base from salvage company, classification society, financial institutions, ship owners/operators, carriers, academics, insurance companies, media, lawyers etc.

WISTA Japan’s main goals are providing networking and educational opportunities for our members and to contribute to Japanese maritime industry both domestically and internationally.  To encourage the furtherance of better understanding and interest of the industry, WISTA Japan holds periodic meetings, seminars and social gatherings throughout the year.
