  • WISTA JAPAN was established in October 2025 by a group of maritime professionals committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the maritime and related industries. As part of the global WISTA network, we provide a platform for networking, professional development, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas.
As a young organization, we are excited to grow our community and work with companies and professionals who share our commitment to building a more inclusive and sustainable maritime industry. Together, we strive to inspire positive change and create opportunities for future generations of industry leaders.

    Our Mission

    • A determined promoter of Diversity, Equality & Inclusion (DE&I) in Japan’s maritime industry
    • A driving engine for transforming leadership through cross-cultural collaboration and modern practices
    • A network of female leaders and industrial talents across generations and sectors
    • A platform for open dialogue, learning, and knowledge exchange within the maritime community
    • A correspondent and active contributor to WISTA International in East Asia
