WISTA Sri Lanka’s OBT 2025: A Day of Empowerment, Teamwork, and Unbreakable Bonds
July 13, 2025
On Friday, July 4th, 2025, thirty dynamic women from WISTA Sri Lanka came together for an exhilarating Outbound Training (OBT) session at CHE Adventure Park, Hanwella. Set against a stunning natural backdrop, the event offered an unforgettable day of empowerment, adventure, and connection—an experience that truly showcased the strength, resilience, and spirit of women in maritime.
WISTA OBT 2025 was more than just a day outdoors; it was a carefully curated experience aimed at unlocking key competencies that enable women to lead with confidence, collaborate effectively, and thrive in both their professional and personal lives. The agenda featured a range of team-building games and skills-based challenges focused on leadership, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
From high-energy physical tasks to brain-teasing strategic puzzles, each activity was designed to push boundaries, spark creativity, and encourage unity. Throughout the day, laughter echoed, strategies formed, and a strong sense of camaraderie blossomed among participants.
The energy and enthusiasm were palpable as members rallied around one another, proving that when women come together with purpose, there are no limits to what they can achieve. Each participant left the park not only with memories to cherish but also with renewed confidence and a deeper sense of connection to the WISTA community.
WISTA Sri Lanka remains committed to inspiring, empowering, and uplifting women across the maritime industry. A heartfelt thank you goes to our Corporate Partner, South Asia Gateway Terminals (SAGT), for their generous support in making impactful events like this possible.
