WISTA Venezuela installs New Executive Committee in an event at Sala Mendoza

Caracas, Venezuela – The Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) Venezuela recently hosted a solemn installation ceremony for its new Executive Committee for the 2025-2027 term. Held at the prestigious Sala Mendoza of the Universidad Metropolitana (UNIMET), this significant event gathered prominent figures from the maritime and business sectors, signaling the commencement of a promising new era for the association. The beautiful ceremony not only underscored WISTA Venezuela’s ongoing commitment to industry leadership but also served as a fitting celebration of the International Day for Women in Maritime, emphasizing the vital role of women in the sector’s present and future.
Leading the new Executive Committee for a second term is Ms. Cristina Mujica Perret-Gentil as President, whose recognized expertise and profound dedication uniquely position her to steer the Association towards new horizons. She is joined by a highly capable and experienced team: Ms. Iliana Fernández assumes the role of Vice President, Ms. Isabella Wulff steps in as Secretary for a second term, and Ms. María Francia Evora takes on the responsibilities of Treasurer. The committee is further strengthened by Ms. Mercedes Mejía as Executive Director, whose collective vision promises to drive WISTA Venezuela’s ambitious agenda forward. This blend of seasoned leadership and dynamic perspectives ensures a comprehensive approach to the Association’s strategic goals.
