TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE

Purpose:

The Technology Committee (TC) coordinates the strategic conversation and WISTA’s position on how technology and digital trends are shaping the future of the maritime, trading and logistics sectors, this to enhance the dialogue on how women have impact across the technology ecosystem, and how the maritime sector can thrive through diversity within technology.

Scope:

  • Provide a stage for WISTA’s technology leadership through the maritime transition, this through e.g., social media presence, online webinars, written articles.
  • Works to “visualize” women in tech in maritime, logistics and trade), showcasing women as critical differentiators, through promoting member initiatives and identifying stories to
  • Actively support the ExCo as a resource for technology expertise, curate insights through the Technology Blog and explore how to engage the wider membership in storytelling
