It is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of April and it is a date that seeks to encourage girls and young women to consider the possibility of directing their studies and professions to the field of technological and innovative careers.
This date was established by agreement of the member states of the International Telecommunication Union in 2010 and is part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, as a space that promotes the construction of more inclusive and sustainable societies.
