WISTA Brazil visit to the Brazilian Merchant Marine Academy Almirante Graça Aranha – CIAGA

On Thursday, August 1st, WISTA Brazil visited the Brazilian Merchant Marine Academy Almirante Graça Aranha – CIAGA – based in Rio de Janeiro – RJ
On the occasion, Luciana Suman Jardim, Flavia Melo and Flavia Maia addressed an institutional presentation of WISTA Brazil to 300+ students, encompassing the relevant role played by the association in the Maritime Cluster, from the promotion of diversity and inclusion in the various sectors connected to the shipping and trading, educational and job opportunities to the networking and camaraderie enjoyed by the Members of WISTA worldwide. Also, during the Q&A session, the students were able to learn more about the professional journey from the three speakers who gave some piece of advice.
Opportunities like those are invaluable to our association as we promote the shipping and trading industry to the workforce at the same time we get to know them and prepare ourselves for the challenges that the future holds.
Our next visit will be to the Merchant Marine Academy Almirante Brás de Aguiar – CIABA – based in Belém – PA.
