Recognition to Mrs. María Belén Espiñeira

Mrs. Dafne Anghelidis President of WISTA Argentina, and the current Ex-Co gave  Mrs. Maria Belen Espineira a recognition present for her efforts and commitment in founding and developing  WISTA in ARGENTINA. 

Mrs. María Belén Espiñeira launched WISTA Argentina in 2012. Thereafter, many women joined WISTA Argentina, demonstrating the importance to promote and support women in the shipping industry. In 2018, Mrs Maria Belen Espiñeira, with a team of members committed with WISTA Argentina carried out the FIRST REGIONAL CONFERENCE for Latin America which was a successful event in the region, WISTA AMERICAS.The development of WISTA Argentina stimulated the foundation and re-launching of national Wista associations in the region like WISTA Chile, WISTA Uruguay, WISTA Perú, WISTA Colombia, WISTA Venezuela and WISTA Panama. 

Today WISTA Argentina is locally supported by many shipping companies, government institutions and associations of this industry!
