Be Part of WISTA’s 50th Anniversary Photo Mosaic!

Inviting our friends and supporters to help us celebrate 50 years of Women in Shipping & Trading!

As many of you know, WISTA (Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association) is celebrating 50 years of promoting gender diversity in maritime. To mark this momentous occasion, we’re creating a stunning photo mosaic that celebrates the incredible people who drive our industry and make maritime more welcoming and inclusive.

This mosaic, made entirely of high-resolution photos of WISTA members and supporters (of all genders) working in maritime environments, will form our official 50th-anniversary photo montage featuring our logo. The final, framed masterpiece will be shared on our social media channels for you to enjoy and re-share across your networks.

We will also distribute some copies to key stakeholders.

We need YOU!

We’re inviting you to submit a high-resolution photo of yourself at work in a maritime environment. This can be on a ship, in a port or even in your office or at a conference. Your image will be a vital piece of this historic artwork, showcasing the diversity and strength of the people who have shaped and continue to shape our industry into a more inclusive sector.

Here’s how to be part of the mosaic:

• Capture a High-Resolution Image: Submit a photo of at least 300dpi (dots per inch).
• Show Your Face: Make sure your face is clearly visible in the image and you are not too far away from the camera.
• Focus on Yourself: We need individual portraits, not group photos.
• Maritime Setting: The photo should depict you working in a maritime environment (port, ship, office, etc.)
• Submit Your Photo: Upload your high-resolution image to https://wetransfer.com/. This is a free site and does not require any registration. In the section where it says “email to”, please type wista@intentcommunications.co.uk

Together, let’s create a powerful visual tribute to the legacy of this vital organisation!
