Every 25 June, on the Day of the Seafarer, WISTA Argentina joins the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the global maritime community in recognising the dedication, resilience and professionalism of seafarers around the world.
At a time when the safety and wellbeing of those who work at sea remain a key priority, we renew our appreciation for their essential role in keeping global trade moving and the world connected.
Today, we also reaffirm the importance of building a more diverse, inclusive and safer maritime industry, with greater opportunities for women at sea.
